Economy Thawing Out?

A friend remarked in his blog today that he thought the economy was "thawing out." But I don't really want the old economy back, do you? Take a tip from Midwesterners who are wary of what you find under melting snowdrifts during a first Spring thaw.

The lesson is: tread cautiously after a thaw until it's time to plant new seeds.ice-on-van.jpg

Green Career Tracks is busy planting seeds in the new green economy. After coaching and working with hundreds of individuals committed to working for a more sustainable world, we're witnessing an active movement to reshape the linear, extractive economy of an Industrial Age that no longer works for the planet - or its people.

We're daring to reinvent the way we work and do business while helping others clarify their green career or business visions. We're teaching individuals how to position themselves for a green career in a steadily growing green economy. And we're collaborating with other eco-minded folks on the future of strong, local and sustainable economies and how they foster new work opportunities.

Maybe the best place for the old economy and its debt-heavy culture is on ice.

Best to all, Barbara
